The Wellness Forum provides educational classes and events to empower you to take control of your health.  It is highly recommended for anyone who needs more then a book to implement a truly healthy lifestyle.  The founder, Dr. Pam Popper, PhD is a Naturopathic Doctor that specializes in plant-based nutrition.  She has created a fantastic 8 hour program that teaches the science and lifestyle skills behind preventing and reversing disease.  Her courses are available via distance conference calls and DVDs.  I've taken many of their courses and they are highly recommended.  Dr. Pam also founded the Wellness Forum's Institute for Health Studies, providing classes for medical professionals and provides a two year Nutrition Educator Certificate Program.  Dr. Pam also sees patients one-on-one and specializes in GI disorders.  Her website provides a wealth of information!

Dr. McDougall

Dr. McDougall is a pioneer in disease prevention and plant-based nutrition and has been reversing disease with his patients for over 30 years.  Based out of Santa Rosa, California, he is the medical director of the McDougall Program, a 10 day residential education program that provides scientific and lifestyle educational sessions for implementing an optimal diet.  He is the author of many best-selling health books and is one of my favorite plant-based docs!  His wife Mary, is a fantastic cook and their website is full of delicious free recipes, health information, as well as a fantastic newsletter.
